If you are craving a more elevated feel to your brand visuals, Anna can help. She uses her background as a magazine photographer to create images your dream clients will adore.

What’s Included?

brand photography…

  • Feel prepared for even the smallest details! Anna’s preparation process includes multiple calls before your session, as well as access to outfit, prop, and location guides. You will receive a pre-session checklist to help you feel ready for the photoshoot, as well as a full plan for the session so you can feel as relaxed as possible.

  • Needing plenty of options for your marketing goals this year? Your images are delivered in a stunning gallery that allows Anna to add a little SEO-friendly touch to your photography.

  • Anna specialises in working with camera-shy clients, and designs photoshoot schedules that centre your peace and enjoyment of the day. The session will be relaxed and enjoyable, with a clear direction from our plan but room to be flexible too.

  • We close your shoot by jumping on a call for your strategy workshop, where we will go through the gallery together and Anna will make suggestions on how to get the most value from your images. If you have any questions for her, we can go over anything else together too. Your photography is ready for your next season of work!

brand identity…

  • Kickstart the brand identity process with Sarah’s branding questionnaire and strategy call. This supports the research that goes into unveiling a brand that is authentically you, as part of the Discover phase to Sarah’s design process.

  • Sarah uses a moodboarding process to uncover your unique brand aesthetic, which then informs the curation of your brand colour palette and which typefaces will support your new identity…

  • Sarah believes in a single concept approach — one logo design based on a solid idea. This method enables us to invest our time in the most valuable design solution and create a brand that meets the brief.

  • Feel confident and sure of how to utilise your branding, thanks to Sarah’s complete style guide. This document is the North Star of your branding, summarising the elements she has curated and designed so that you can take your new brand forward.

TESTIMONIALS

what it’s like to work with us

Meet the Team…

Clients, turned pals, turned branding partners: we met when Anna booked Sarah for Studio Gently’s branding, and Sarah has since booked Anna for photoshoots of her own. We’re both based in Scotland and have a passion for branding small businesses.

  • Brand Photographer

I am an Edinburgh-based brand photographer working with creative kin across the UK. I love helping even the shyest clients feel comfortable on camera, and when I’m not shooting, you'll probably find me cosied up under a blanket with a fave magazine.

  • Brand Designer

I'm a brand designer and creative mentor with almost 20 years in business. I specialise in a gentle, nurturing, and playful approach to branding, perfect for businesses hoping to capture their vision, values, and voice in a meaningful and memorable way.

brand photography faqs…

  • All over the UK! She’s based in Edinburgh, but loves to travel for client shoots. She would definitely be interested in shooting abroad, so you can email her here for a custom quote!

  • There’s no such thing as too early to book in for a brand session. Anna prefers 6 weeks of preparation ahead of a photoshoot, especially helpful during busier seasons in spring and autumn. You’ll need plenty of time to source props and locations and create a photoshoot plan. It takes her 6 weeks to edit as standard, but you can accelerate the process to 2 weeks with the Accelerated Edits add-on.

  • Anna loves taking the lead on location sourcing, and has a full guide to help you decide if you would be best at home or somewhere else. Her top suggestion for indoor photoshoots is hiring a styled home (which are fully licensed for photography use and really beautiful). She can also help you book an Airbnb if that’s more suitable.

If shooting from home or your own studio, a stylist can really transform the space and ensure you get the best possible photos.

A standard session allows time for working in one location, though you can add on time to include multiple if you wish.

  • Anna has a full guide to walk you through preparing for a photoshoot, with lots of information on outfits. As a general rule of thumb, think about what you would wear for the first time you meet a client in person. What’s most important is that you feel your absolute best.

brand identity faqs…

  • The cornerstone of a successful branding project is effective communication. After a connection call to ensure we’re a good fit, the process begins with moodboard creation, and a detailed discussion to explore ideas. Each of these touchpoints is a crucial part of the information-gathering process and will help us align our vision before any creative work commences. The design process generally takes 8-12 weeks from start to completion.

  • A one-concept approach can seem like a limiting one but when you break it down it makes creative sense, for it means that Sarah can put all of her time into designing and developing a single concept, rather than spreading resources thinly and ineffectively across several potential options. The completion of a branding questionnaire, moodboard and follow-up discussions are usually enough to inform one concept idea, which she may provide one or two variations on.

  • One of Sarah’s favourite parts of the process is seeing a client launch. Putting the branding and design work she’s created into action is an exciting time, and the first step she takes in supporting a client is in the supply of all graphics and assets. These include primary and secondary logos as well as stamps and icons. If you’re looking for specific help with updating collateral, packaging or websites, this can be discussed at the beginning of the project, where she’ll provide a tailored quote.

  • The branding and design process is a collaborative one and you will feel involved every step of the way, from the initial connection call through to the creation of a moodboard and the design of a concept. It’s important to Sarah that you feel aligned with (and excited about!) the direction your brand identity is taking, so as a minimum, allow the time to complete the branding questionnaire and at least two calls with Sarah to discuss the design approach and branding concepts. The more time you dedicate to communicating with me, the stronger the result will be.
