I’m Anna, your brand photographer and marketing strategist…
I like to say that being a Leo Moon Sign means I was always meant to be a brand photographer! My approach to a photoshoot is to capture the gorgeousness of the person you have always been. My clients often tell me their gallery is the first time they’ve seen themselves as beautiful, which shows the power of a well-planned photoshoot and the right person behind the camera.
I take shoots slowly and intentionally, directing but not awkwardly posing, creating an environment that’s full of love so that you can shine. You’ll never feel rushed, just safe, held, and supported. I can't wait for you to feel it.

What does a Studio Gently brand photoshoot involve?

My shoots involve a 7-step process to help us uncover your goals for the future of your work, and create images that support them.

When I’ve received your enquiry, I’ll send you an easy link to book into my calendar for our consultation call. It’s a chance to meet each other and for me to start learning about you and your work. We’ll also cover what to expect after our call, to help you feel prepared and excited for your session.

You can secure your booking by settling your first payment plan instalment, and from there you’ll receive an invite to your online home for your session(s). It’s a hub for our shoot preparation and especially your welcome questionnaire, which goes deep into your future as a brand. I use this as the basis for your photoshoot plan, so it explores who you are as a business owner in detail. You’ll also get an invite to follow me on Pinterest so we can gather inspiration there.

Once I’ve received your welcome questionnaire, I’ll start on the full creative direction of your photoshoot plan. This includes helping you hire or decide on a photoshoot location, and creating a plan document to walk you through the day(s). The plan contains mood boards for each of the stories we want to capture, as well as a shotlist, schedule, and ideas for props and outfits.

Nervous before the session? I’ve got you! We will catch up around a week before the shoot to go over any last minute questions and queries, so that you have total peace of mind ahead of the session itself! I also send you a handy checklist to tick off your preparation so that you have everything you need.

We’ll start slowly, usually going for a walk around our location, styling the first set-up, and checking outfits and props. I will gently direct you throughout the session, favouring a candid-feeling style instead of awkward poses or unnatural smiles! My goal is to do all the hard prep and heavy lifting so that your session feels fun and easeful.

Your images be easy to access and download from my beautiful gallery platform within 6 weeks of your session, or just two if you choose Accelerated Edits. I deliver them with the SEO basics taken care of, so you can immediately begin using them for print or web.

We close your shoot by jumping on a call for your strategy workshop, where we will go through the gallery together and I’ll make suggestions on how to get the most value from your images. If you have any questions for me, we can go over anything else together too. Your branding is now all set for your next season of work!

This is my most-booked package thanks to its versatility and ease, giving you a full gallery. It’s suitable for individuals or for teams.

All over the UK! I’m based in Edinburgh, but I love to travel for client shoots. I would definitely be interested in shooting abroad, so email me for a custom quote!

There’s no such thing as too soon. I prefer 6 weeks of preparation, especially helpful during busier seasons in spring and autumn. We’ll need plenty of time to source props and locations and create a photoshoot plan.

It takes me 6 weeks to deliver a full gallery, but I do have an Accelerated Edits add-on for a 2-week deadline if you prefer! I always send clients a sneak peek gallery within a few days of the shoot to get a thumbs-up on the editing style I have in mind, so you’ll have some shots to share within a week – usually around 5-10 depending on your package.

I have a full location guide to help clients plan, but as a starter, think about bright spaces with a variety of set-ups! It could be at home, in your studio, in an Airbnb, or a fave café.

YES! Totally, totally normal, but all of the creative kin I’ve worked with have said they really got into it. You would be amazed by how fun a photoshoot is, so don’t worry if you feel some initial nerves; I have multiple guides to help you prepare and I will be there to just make you laugh on the session itself.
